I don't know about nowadays, but back when I was in high school, I seemed to remember a lot more girls covered thier mouths to yawn than guys, I think the reason for that it was probably girls were expected to have better manners than guys.
I don't recall any difference between girls and boys when I was in elementary, though I remember one boy in grade 1 was scolded for not covering his mouth when he yawned.
Nowadays, as I travel to work by bus and subway, I don't find any real differences between the sexes, who is likely to cover thier mouth, it seems to depend on the individual.
So based on your experiences, who do you think is more likely to cover thier mouths when they yawn, a girl or a guy?
Thanks for reading my inquiry!
