I am a member of the SFO..secular franciscan order. which follows the rule and teachings of St. Francis who had great love for our Lord Jesus Christ.

I was a prim and proper college student :)
I never thought of joining any sorority/fraternity. The major reason is that I am afraid of hazing..why endure physical pain just to be a part of the brotherhood/sisterhood? There are still some worthy friends out there.

There are some great fraternities and sororities out there. Most have nothing to do with any physical or mental pain or hazing either. There's only a small majority who give the rest a bad name.
Benefits of joining Greek Life:
- Networking
- Bonds with other members
- Social Functions
- Philanthropy opportunities
- Professional development/Alumni Network.
College is a great time regardless if you surround yourself with great friends :)

i think APO is an exceptional frat coz i know personally a member from that. one of their activities are outreach programs, and i think that would be a better and a positive activity to be recognized socially, unlike those other loser frats out there who are only collected by jologs and squatters who know nothing but haze each other during initiations.

Yes I'm in a sorority, the system is different in the US than in the Philippines.. Much more organized and respectable.
