Not sure i understand what yu asking but. After one person meets another person judgement is made and you either like or don't like a person based on first impression (instinct). There have been people i have hated on sight but once i sat down and talked with them a while we got a long real well. Then others my instincts were right and they were nothing but trouble. Its the same all over the world. i think the friendliest country would be the country with the least emphasize on patriotism. Pride makes man think that he is better than another. So the more patriotic one is the more he/she thinks their country is better than another country. This causes tension which can make it difficult to get dialogue going with opposing countries and their views.

same goes for religous importance. instead of just letting people live you have all those religious zealots trying to convert people. Muslims, Christians, jews, etc...That's why the older folks say you should never discuss religion or politics.( you'll get more friends that way). Think about the problems in the world today they are religious and political in nature right? People don't blow them selves up for money. Countries do not fight unless they can gain something from the end result?
