Rain brought most of London to a stand still yesterday what was the weather

My city Kampala was flooded recently too but not to the level of London yesterday! Today in particular, it is sunny and dry-no signs of bad whether at all!

Well I am in Sheffield - we had more than our share of rain a couple of weeks ago. A lot of areas in the city were flooded - electric was going off and on and our phone was out for quite q while. We were lucky not to be flooded in the area we live but we had friends who were badly flooded. It was terrible and for the past 2 days it has again rained for most of the time. Seems like there is no end to it.
