we mothers usually have our daily routine. like taking care of our kids, driving them to school, preparing their food, doing household chores and all that... have you done anything totally different from your daily routine?

No, I am afraid I have not. Nothing special. Maybe, that lately I care about myself a little more- I do gym every day for 30minutes. But in fact it became a routine too :)

I have a 10 year old, an 18 month old, and a 2 month old. My husband and I have no social lives, but our sister-in-law offered to take all of the kids a couple of days ago so we could have alone time. I wondered what on earth we'd do since money's been so tight. Then my husband remembered he had two free movie passes from work, and we started to look for them. We miraculously found them, and the next day we went to see the Transformers. My husband says he'd been waiting 20 years to see it, being such a big fan as a kid. It was a great time, and also a great movie. I was so happy to see him so excited and satisfied that he finally got to see it!

This may sound off the wall to a lot of women out there but, I have started gold proscting. Yes, you read that right. I have my own buckets, shovel, classifiers, sluice and crevice tools. We have a dig site that is only about 20 minutes from our house and we are finding nice "flour" gold and, occasionally someone will find a larger flake. I am not looking to get rich doing this (though, I plan to someday LOL) but, it is a way for me to ESCAPE the everyday life of motherhood. And, I get to enjoy nature. Sometimes, I take my husband and children with me but, when I need a break, they know I am off to the creek! If anyone is interested, you can find info by searching under "GPAA". Lots of great info!

Just today. Sitting through 4 soccer games at the soccer field today certainly qualifies as a break in routine... further broken by the fact that my eldest daughter won her two games so we are back there tomorrow for two more games. *sigh* I have a headache and I'm sunburned... and my kids are really sunburned. My Saturdays are usually spent doing laundry, which I'm doing now because my daughter needs her uniform for tomorrow's games. But we still made it to church for 5:00pm.
