Hello viollet_ry!
My son lived with me only for around 7 weeks after his birth. During that time, I used to kiss him every time I got a chance whether he is being fed, playing, sleeping anytime. I don't think that I can ever express my love for him just by kisses even though I showered kisses on him all the time. I also used to kiss him when he we were trying him to sleep and I would be doing that afterwards too.
I think this is just one of the ways to express love for one of the most precious and lovely material gifts that has been bestowed upon me by the creator.

Yes, you are right. They are just loveable to be kissed. I like to kiss my boy whenever I am around him. And also I like the smell of him :D

yup, i kiss my 4-year old son and 1-year old daughter before they sleep at night. sometimes, even when they're already asleep, i like cuddling close to hem and kissing htem on the cheeks. the four of us, including my husband, sleep together on one big bed and we like snuggling together especially when it's cold. the kids even have a habit of putting their legs on top of mine and my husband's. i think it's some kind of security blanket for them, like making sure we're there beside them.

yes, that is nice. You will feel warm with them around you. I sometimes like toput my baby in my bed with me sometimes, especially when my hubby is out of town.

Yes I did. It is a maternal love that cannot ever be broken. We love them so much. We must kiss them awake or asleep.

We have a ritual: pajamas, teeth brushed then into bed. The we do kisses, luvins (hugs), and sugars (kiss on each cheek-my son started that one) and sometimes they throw an extra one in...like a kiss on the forehead, or extra big hug etc. But we also do kiss and luvins throughout the day too. We are very close, and show affection alot....i think it is better that way, to be open about it and love your family and show them you love them. We didnt do it alot when i was growing up, and i am very shy with non family members and showing love to them. So i dont want my kids to grow up that way...plus they give the best hugs....lol

In my family, we give hugs and kisses before bedtime. I always tell my kids that I love them and that I will see them in the morning. Its part of the bedtime ritual but its something I WANT to do too. My hubby does the same things on the nights he is off from work.

Everytime he goes to bed, I ask for a goodnight kiss. And I usually give him tickles before I bid him goodnight. This nightly ritual bonds us closer and there are times that I just like to look at him while he sleeps.
