I will promise you here that no spoilers will be found in this post. I will report anyone who chooses to post spoilers in response to this discussion.
I just finished the 7th and final book with a smile on my face. I hope a majority of my fellow fans can do the same, without someone spoiling it for you. Keep your eyes and ears shut to others and to the tv/radio/internet while you read or you are sure to have this ruined for you! I even suggest avoiding all phone calls, for there are some very evil people in this world who take joy in ruining things for others. They will all get their due.

Awesome To know that you ended reading with a smile on your face. I have been procrastinating and havent read the Half Blood Prince yet. But wow to you to have read it all already too. Didnt it just come out today or yesterday? I cant remeber when it was suposed to make it to the shelf. I guess I dont want to feel the dissapointment of them being done and over with thats why it is taking me so long to pick up The Half Blood Prince. LOL But I have to get on it cuase I do want to get the last one and get it read.

I touched my very own copy around 12:20am today (Saturday). I read until 3am, then slept and read through the entire day. I'm going out of town tomorrow and get sick from reading in the car, so I knew I had to finish it today!! I read the first 6 in a week the first time I ever read them. My favorite thing to do is sit and read all day!

it is only $20 this weekend. The price will, I am sure, go up to the original $35 soon, but for now, you can get it for $20 at Books a million. I prefer to have my books in a hard copy. i collect books, and have all of the other Harry Potters in hard copy.

I'm in Canada, where there is another 25% added onto every single book sold to support out lousy writers.( the good ones can support themselves) If I want a book for $20, it is definitely second hand or paperback. and there are none available right now, since the book only came out today.

I thought the book was awesome. I received it in the mail via UPS at about noon Saturday, and then could not put it down. It was a fight to leave it to go do some grocery shopping and then to have meals with my wife, but after that it was straight through. I plan on giving it all a few days to sink in before I read a second time right away to get a better understanding on the stories. I know I tend to read a little fast the first time because I am so into finding out what happened and read through quickly. This second time should do even more to get it.
I did like the final chapter, I thought it closed out a lot of the stories in the books. It was cool seeing all the names in the final chapter because I thought it was an awesome tribute to some of the characters in the entire series. I also thought the way that they tied all the books together at the end was incredible.
I was successful in staying away from spoilers and I am affording the same privilage to those who have not read the book. No spoilers at all; it's not right for this story.

I saw two tiny spoilers, but I didn't think they were real so I was still surprised. Other than that, I managed to avoid all spoilers by staying off the net and not mentioning how much I looked forward to DH. My friends will soon start to read it, so I have to be very careful not to accidentally spoil anything.

I finished it yesterday and loved it!
And since you don't want anyone to actually talk about it....not sure what else I can discuss about it! :)
