Have you lost someone to cancer?

I lost my father a few weeks ago to kidney cancer. Have you lost someone to cancer? Do you know someone with cancer?

No, I have not, but my best friend lost his father to cancer. It was very sad for her to see her father as he changed so much. She spoke a lot about her feelings, but all I could do only to listen to her.

We lost a cousin (my husbands first cousin) to Leukaemia - she was only 34 I think her age was. We lost her in October 2006. I still think of her everday as we spent some time together in Samoa when we both were living there.
