Ok I gatta ask how was everyones weekend! I am hoping better than mine...lol I wake up Saturday morning to no coffee my husband is awake hours before me (I think he drank it all) and didn't bother to make any. So of course i was grumpy.. I had to go out and do some shopping for food came home and put that away. Oh I thought maybe I'd go and pick some strawberries ok that was alright I went and picked some the lady said today was their last day so she let me pick as much as I wanted for free.. How nice huh! Well I pick two nice containers full and take them home and washed them and sliced them, I got threw one and than was ready to do my second one when they tipped out of my hand on to the floor, how nice, so there I am picking them up lucky for me I still had some left, I sliced those up and put them in the freezer, The others I just threw away, Finally after 3 hours of doing that I get a call from a friend needing a sitter and so I did that, I do have a post about that so I am not going to repeat myself ont hat subject! Well today is sunday 3:43 am at the moment I am off to bed to get some sleep and hopes to sleep in from a long day/night! So how was your weekend! I just told you mine!.... LONG DAY!!!

I cleaned house in between checking on what my friends were doing on Mylot. Then around 12:30am I received a message from my friend about going crazy. She had two kids she couldn't figure out what to do with...LOL..oh, yea, that was you..HA HA. Today I was supposed to watch my grandsons so their mom could go help somebody paint their kids rooms, but I am still waiting for my daughter to call. I went to bed about the same time you did. For some reason I have my days and nights messed up. I have been going to bed about 3am and getting up around noon. I need to cut the coffee off before 6pm., I think. Strawberries sure do sound good. There is a place here where we can pick our own also..That is about it.

Yeah that was me wasn't it.. Because I really was. Having a long day and having two hyper active girls well the one wasn't so bad, she just liked asking questions. The other one though was busy jumping around and hardly listening, but they looked like angels when they finally went to sleep. It wasn't soon after that my son went to sleep.. He woke up this morning in a bit of pain, Poor child. His eye was swollen up I did make a post about that if you want to check it out.. My husband was teasing him this morning asking if he was flirting with the girls and got a love tap on the eye.. How nice is that.. lol
I have always drank alot of coffee and I do tend to stay awake longer too but it really doesn't make a difference I guess for me.. There was a week that I didn't drink much and was still up until 2 am I don't get it.. I think though staying up much longer might have something to do with my hour and half naps I take during the evenings.. I get so worn out that I just can't keep my eyes open any longer and I need to rest..Oh yeah and those strawberries That I went and picked yesterday took me for ever to clean and the girls were eating them like they were going out of style ha ha i didn't mind the least cause i have so many of them. I did send some home with them too.. HAve a great day and thank for you reply!!

oh your lucky lol I do have to go to places to get mine, Though I think the blueberry season is over with now. I was out few days ago and got less than a ice cream bucket full.. They seem to be drying up pretty good.. Next year though I am hoping not to get sick and be able to get out more.. I know the week that I wasn't able too was the week they all started doing their thing.. Plus we haven't had much rain in the past month so that don't help much either.. It's been sitting hot here around the 90's for the past two weeks or three.. usually it's much cooler than that here.. So I am not sure why it's been so warm.. I kinda wish though it was winter again but than again I can hold off on those cold temps mainly the -30 we get.. Thanks again!!

Strawberries don't last around here either. My grandsons love them. They eat them plain or with cool whip. When I was young we would go out and pick blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries. Some were right in our own back yard.

So far, just one of the better weekends I've had recently, and all for one sole reason. I received my copy of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" yesterday and finished it in about 8 hours of solid reading. I even got to go grocery shopping with my wife and didn't lose too much in my life in terms of doing things while getting through the seventh and final installment of the Harry Potter series. All in all, a great weekend planned ahead, too, with a trip to the local improv comedy club to see one of my favorite comedians, Lewis Black, perform tomorrow night.

I am so sorry to hear that. I know how it is though being sick. I finally recovered after being bitten by a deer tick.. Lucky for me I didn't get any lymes disease just really really sick.. Ish I was in bed for a few days with high temps of 103. Strange though the exact same thing happened to my son over the summer vacation.. I hope things get better for you.. Take care and thank you for your reply!
