Do you still buy CDs?

I still buy CDs, pjanaway, because if I really like an artist I figure I will like most of the songs featured on the CD even if I have not heard them yet. I have never downloaded any music-legally or illegally.

If it's a band that I really like, I will buy the whole CD. However if I go on i-tunes and sample the CD and there is only one or two songs that I like I just buy the 1 or 2 songs. It's cheaper that way.

I always buy cds.I dont like to down load music from the net.It is my hobby to collect different CDs.

I never buy cds from the shops now, because they are such a rip off, and I saw a programme once about the cheapness of making cds and just how much us the consumer are robbed, £13+ for a cd? You're having a laugh! So I got napster and downloaded songs but now I pay for a subscription to download which is a very very small amount compared to the fortune I'd spend buying them. If I really really want a cd then I will go onto Ebay to buy it. I am not getting blatantly ripped off!

No i dont buy CD's .....the reason is i dont listen music much but specific very selective tracks so what i just do download them or give them to be copied in a single CD so i dont need to buy many CD's ............ it saves my money and time while driving ........

I download a little to hear if I like the music before I buy the CD. I like having a big, beautiful CD-collection! Most of my friends never buy CD's anymore, but they are really missing out on some pretty artwork.

I will download a lot of songs. I really hate to buy a CD full of songs I dislike just to have one that I do like. If I like a band a good bit then I most definitely buy the CD. Sometimes I will buy the CD over downloading even if I simply respect the band and what they stand for and their talents, even if I don't like all the songs.

Yes, I love buying cds when I can. Right now though I have not been buying cds because I have been buying a lot of comic books.

Yes sometime i still buy the cds but only the music that really nice and i think it's that cd album of my favorite singer from Indonesia, i bought the album in Indonesian because this is my country,it's really easy to find illegal cd,but sometime I do download the songs to see whether it is nice or interesting to listen.I do not have enough money to buy all the nice, interesting cd or legally cd,so i just download the songs from the internet.

Several years ago, I would like to buy tapes very much. Very week I went to music shop to buy the new tapes of my favorate stars. When the online music was more and more popular, I like to download music online. But I like to buy some CDs which music is uncommon on internet.

I also buy cds when there downloading is not introduced yet.. I remember i had the habit of collecting cds with cool CD boxes and i place them on a big CD rack in my room.. It's like an art before.. But now i got lazy already and I prefer to download.. Anyway nothing is illegal here in our country when it comes to those things..(:

If i really like the music i usually buy the CD, but i do know quite some people that never buy music CD or DVDs.

I get most of my music legally from Itunes now. It's hard to find a store that carries the kind of music I like. I've only found one here and the prices are great but it's an hour drive just to get there so I only go once every few months and just load up.

I buy some cds but usually if I know i'm not gonna like the whole cd, I'll just download one or two songs from their cd

Yes, I still buy CDs but not that often for there are a lot of CDs that are expensive. So, what I do is I just download songs that I like.

I have a year free of itunes, and sometimes people buy me gift cards for itunes or whatever, but if I like the cd enough I'll actually go and buy the cd so I can give that band or artist profit for their job well done.
