Does anyone remember that little commercial jingle from the 70's? It was an alcazeltzer commercial. I was shutting my computer down this morning and for some reason,this jingle started going through my head and I couldn't get it out. I hadn't thought of this commercial for years.I thought I would ask other mylotter's about commercials that were popular when they were growing up.There are so many I loved.There was madge the manacuist who always had some woman's hands soaking in Pomalive.I could go on and on.what about you?

i used to like the old fig newton commercial
"hit it,hal" and then they'd squish him.that never failed to make me laugh.
and old "crave" cat food commercial.
"my kitty cat,craves tuna,my kitty cat craves milk.."
we used to sing along "my kitty cat craves bugs,my kitty cat craves kleenex"
LOL we were odd children ;)

I don't remember crave too much.I do remember Morris.To me is is the apitome of arrogance.almost anyway.that title is still held by the indomitable Garfield.I don't think you can get any more arrogant than that,lol

It is ok, some time it is good to look at the past and tell my brother's kids, OMG, I remember that. It was just funny that I found someone else that remembered them too.

Yes, there are several commercials like that. They seem to be classics as people never forget them. How about "Don't squueze the Charmin" with Mr. Whipple?

In a related topic, "How do you spell relief?" Personally I spell it P-I-S--- well you get the idea.
It's funny how jingles and things of that nature can just pop into our heads for no reason. It helps to prove my point as to what I've learned as a musician. What ever you hear, you will one day play...so one has to be very careful in what you choose to listen to.
