What is your favorite meal that mom used to make?

Where I come from,nasi lemak is a favourite dish.My mom makes good nasi lemak.Her spicy sambal telur is the best!

Hey. My mom use to cook us this really nice fish dish, I can taste it now... I have'nt eaten this dish since, christmas back in 1990-91, I think its time to cook up... The dish consists of Fish, milk, cheese, onions, spring onions, tomatoes and salt n pepper... She would turn the oven on to Bake at 180C, fillet some snapper and lie them in a well greased baking dish, then she would lay the onions over the fish, pour milk over the lot and lay cheese, then tomatoes and salt n pepper, and bake this dish for 45 minutes or until the fish was cooked and the cheese was golden and brown... My favourite dish that my mom would cook...

my mom makes really good homemade chicken noodle soup. she also makes really good beef stroganoff which i make now for our family alot. i haven't tried the chicken noodle soup, some things you just can't make as good as mom makes :)

ooooh, there are lots! mostly filipino dishes, like her crispy pata, escabeche, tinolang baboy, pancit, i remember them all. and now that's she's far away from us, the desire goes double. i wish she's here to cook for us. it's always the best when the cooking is done with tlc.
