the ups and downs of University life

I just got my "down". An important person in my academic life passed away, a well-loved mentor.

It is especially sad when he is a very good mentor. Somehow, the ups and downs of university life are just glimpse of the real world.

downs of university life, its making choices. being forced to decided and choose which is which even if you dont want to do it. its seeing yourself after college and having no idea of what you will be after leaving the academe. its really hard when you plan everything, then with just a snap, you're world was change and now, you dont have any idea what to do.

What a pity!However,it should not be a "down" for you because you can have another choice which might better. You should first thank him for his teaching for you ,moreover if he/she likes you he/she must have said something to you to encourage so that you shoule study with more efferts as appreciation for him .On the other hand ,you have another choice to learn from others,learning something different is much helpful to your lomg-term study and he/she might be happy in the heaven if he/she could see your continual efforts! Believe yourself ,you can achieve your goals!
