More Income .... More Expenditure.

What will you do when you have a sudden influx of money /As for me , i will spend some of it on entertainment and charitable activities. Skillful speculation would be another choice. I will buy up gold and diamond ornaments and keep those safe in a bank locker. The truth is that when you have more income, there would definitely be more expenditure relative to that. It is when your intelligence has to sparkle and act wisely. You should balance your income with the expenses and effect some savings .

I would pay off any loans I might have, and if anything is left, I would save it for emergencies. If it was a lot of money, I would probably have a big party to celebrate.

as the song goes, mo' money, mo' problems. i think that the more money a person has, his expenses become bigger. it's just the mentality, that we have money and we have to spend it. what else can we do with it right? we are going to spend it eventually so why wait? that's the problem. we don't realize that when we save a little.. let's just say 5-10% of our income, that's already a lot. so that when the times comes like an emergency and we need money, we have something to use. and just like how the saying goes, easier said than done.

Dreaming is good.We can dream what ever we like.If i get lot of money, first i will buy a car, then etc etc......I think it is better to invest some money in the bank for our future. If we spend it lavisly,in the future,we have to suffer a lot.

I agree with you totally, the more get the more you seem to spend..Its normal I think..lol. So really you are not that much better off with what is left in your hand at the end of the day.

You know when you don't have, you will probably making plans how to saving, invest, help people or charity group all this and that will be passing through your mind, but once the money is there you will get lost untill the money is gone then you will come back to your senses. I think we need the ability to control the power and influence of money over our lives.

IF I got more money I would try to put some in the bank..Right now..one paycheck goes for bills and the other for needs like food, household items, tithing etc. I don't want to buy more stuff..just save some for tomorrow.

Hey s794, I agree (as one who has been on both sides of the fence) when you make more money you spend more money.Having said that if your income dramatically decreased (as mine has) you learn to cut away the non-neccesities. +'s |:)

I would invest a great deal of the money. I have an investment fund & I will add to it. The percentage I would add to it depends on how much money I came into. In addition to that, I would upgrade my house. This is an assett forever. If we could afford it as well, I would love to buy a caravan. There are some impiortant charaties I would loke to donate to, such as the Animal rescue Centre, & research for Heart Disease. Lastly, if there was enough money leftover, I would go on a round the World holiday.

Yup i would have to agree with you there. Now that my husband has a higher paid salary we tend to spend more than we should nowadays. We do have a savings but it could be better. I hope that if we did come into a huge sudden influx of money, that we are able to invest it wisely.

I will definitely jump for joy for it is a wish come true. I will buy the things I have put off buying because I feel it can wait. No, no. it is not splurging on unnecessaries. It is a want but not a need but I still need to pamper myself. I would use the money to grow money, some speculation inclusive of course since that is easier money :P
