Do you prefer to eat at night before lovemaking?

I have a friend who believes that he has to eat very well before lovemaking so as to have enough strenght to really satisfy his wife in bed.He belives that there is a need to eat very well before the act.

He's got a point there, but too much can make you weak and sleepy. I eat also but not too much, just for energy purpose.
