Who do you respect the most?

Is there someone special who comes to mind, someone that has earned your respect? the person I respect the most is my brother, he gave his life in Iraq for something he believed in. I respect him because he felt it was his duty to help the people of Iraq learn a better way of life.

i am civil and polite in my behavior towards everyone but respect is another thing altogether it has to be earned by ones behaviour not shoved down someones throat. i can only respect someoneifhe/she has earned it and there are many ex my parents,teachers,colleagues, etc,

That's a hard question. I know exactly what you mean, but I don't know who I respect most. I never measured my respect for anyone. I think it might be my father, since he is a great man and always work the harder he can to make us happy.
I am really sorry for your brother. You know, sometimes the people we love just go away... It's hard, but we must know how to live with it. I just wish you the best.

The first person that comes to mind when I read this question is Me. I would have to say myself because I trust myself and I take care of myself.
