How does US cheque cash in Singapore bank charge?

So, if I received those US cheque from, let's say... Inbox Dollar.. Do i get charged a whole lot when I bank it in locally in Singapore? I believe i saw somewhere stated that US cheque will be charged USD $30-$40 just to bank it in. If that's the case, programs without paypal support is not an option here :( Anyone able to confirm this?

THat's exactly why I never join programs that only pay via cheque... The exchange fees are just insane if you try do exchange them for cash outside the US.
