What is your favorite type of movie?

Do you like movies filled with action?
Perhaps you like romance movies, or romantic comedies.
Or do you prefer others like:
Vampire movies
Epic movies
Horror movies
Comedy
Drama
Suspense
Fantasy
Or even sad movies?
It just depends on what kind of mood I am in, I like all sorts of types of movies.
But my favorites have been drama, suspense, and epic movies, and fantasy.
Now, what are a few of your favorites?
Could you recommend a few to me?
I really enjoyed the Lord of the Rings, as well as the Shawshank Redemtion.
I am looking forward to renting 'Premonition' as soon as I can, has anyone seen this movie?

I like all sorts of movies, but I'd say my top favorite type of movie is comdies. I love to laugh and sometimes you just need to go away for a couple hours to watch something and just laugh and not think. But I also really like mystery, drama, horror, & suspense.
I really want to see Premonition too, but probably won't see it until it gets on one of our movie channels.
This weekend we've been watching quite a few movies and all were good. We watched How to Eat Fried Worms, which was cute, today. Yesterday we watched Benchwarmers, which was REALLY good we thought & The Devil Wears Prada, which was good too.

Thank you so much for the suggestions, I have already seen benchwarmers, and I did enjoy it.
I will check out 'the devil wears prada' next time I go to the video store.

premonition is a very good movie (says my sis-in-law)
the movies i like r:
action (kung fu is my fav) "the one" with jet li
comedy (robin william & bill cosby stand ups r hillarious)
eventho i hate scary movies (im a chicken) saw 1 was good. i think it was better then the second
romantic comedy (in her shoes) with cameren diaz (non stop tears,laughter,& smiles)
i cant wait 4 the simpsons to come out!

You should watch the movies I have recommended as well.
They are great movies.
I love scary movies, if they aren't too gory, but I just loved SAW 1, and I agree, the second and third weren't as good.

I would probably say 90% of my film collection is some sort of horror, or psychological horror (like the saw films). Other than that the rest is probably mainly comedy and then I have a few of the animated films like toy story etc.
I love horror, its great. However I have not yet seen a film I have been scared of. Nothing seems to scare me. But I can understand why people find these films scary. On occasion I have jumped maybe, but never actually felt scared, or can't watch something.

Well, I think I like comedy and suspense best among those movie styles. I like to share comedy with my best friends and laugh till tears come down. It is good entertainment. And suspense are usually so cool and the plot is pretty attracting. The plot style of suspense always appealing to me.

i like to watch comedy movies but my favourite is action with those never racking and spine chilling action scenes. Action movies always excites me,as though those action scenes are enacted by myself.

There are so many different types of movie I like...comedies, suspense movies, thrillers, musicals, true life films etc. I'd say favourite of all though are romantic movies, especially of the tragic kind. They tend to be the movies I cherish most of all.

It depends, but mostly I like romantic comedies/comedy. Movies like Something New, Brown Sugar, The Devil Wears Prada. Movies like that are my favorites. I do like action movies but it depends. I don't like scary/horror movies...not because they scare me but because I think they are stupid. I also like thriller type movies, like that Gothika that Halle Berry did, that was a good one. Made me think and figure out who did what.

I love comedy movies!!! I really love adam sandler movies and have most of them on dvd! I especially love happy gilmore and 50 first dates!! I tend to buy his movies an dthen watch them over and over again! I dont mid action movies but I much prefer comedies

I prefer comedies. I love Jim Carey, Adam Sandler, Sandra Bullock, Goldie Hawn, etc. Overboard with Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn is one of my favorites, and almost anything with Jim Carey or Adam Sandler. I love to be able to laugh.

for me i would preferably choose the action movie like the movie played by jet li, its very interesting, and you know you will be able to learn a lot from actions just like defending yourselpf from any threats of deaths and etc. We know a fact in todays life we are surrounded with different threats of life. one of the good example of movie that we are going to prefer is that the action movies

yes it depends on what kind of mood we in.but for me mostly what i like are action comedies,comedy horror,comedy movies,.......... ye im a funny guy huh? i just wanna forget the things that are usually comes to us, right?...You know,SMILE. a healthy feeling right? and thats what i recommended to you,just try it.

i have seen premonition. i won't say it's a must watch film. but it's a good one to watch. it has an interesting story and so many twists and turns. you'll love it perhaps.
just like you, i watch movies depending on my mood. but most of the time, i like sci fi films, action and thrillers. i also go for comedies and romantic ones.
and shawshank redemption is really one of my favorite films! touching story. i can watch it many times without feeling bored.
i also like lord of the rings, starwars, harry potter and many more. i am a movie addict.

i prefer suspense/thriller movies. it gives me more excitement and they make me think on what's gonna happen next. suspense movies are the type when you have to finish them unlike romantic movies wherein most of them, you know what's gonna be the ending.

i love all kinds of movies..especially romance and romantic comedies. my boyfriend can't stand romance movies lol. i love to watch other types of movies too, like horror/thriller (although i do get scared haha), comedy, drama and fantasy. i watch a bit of sci-fi movies too, that's my least favourite hehe.

i like comedy, love stories, drama. even more when one movie incorporates all of these types into one. i am sucker for these tpes of movies. as normal life is really like this. i really like non-overacting movies as it seems more real. i sometimes look up to these movies to reflect on my life.

i go for romantic movies. they made me feel young and in-love the whole time (though i'm already 31 and married)! sleapless in seattle, a walk to remember are the best!!! i also do want kids movies like shrek 1,2 and 3. very entertaining!
