So, today is my birthday. I think I've reached my peak. Every time my husband asked me what I wanted to do today all I could say was "stay home" I woke up at 8:00 and cleaned the kitchen, did wash and vaccuumed the living room. What is wrong with me? I'm only 32. I like being here in my home doing what I do everyday. I should want to go out to a restaurant or anywhere. Finally I was convinced to go to our friends house and he cooked and we swam in the pool, and I did have fun but I still just wanted to be here in my home. Am I losing it? Is there still hope for me?

happy belated birthday! it's up to an individual if he/she wants to celebrate their birthday, so it's ok if you dont celebrate your birthday in a fancy way. hope you had a wonderful birthday though. take care:)

Happy Belated Birthday! Some times I think that we get stuck in a rut and we just decide that it is best to stay home or do whatever we are used to doing. Just be glad that you were able to go out and have fun. There are times on my special day that I just want to be home with the kids as I work away from home.

I guess it's just that since you're now married, you feel that staying at home and keeping it is the best thing that you can do...but since it's your birthday, make it as an exception...it's good that you were convinced to go out with friends and have fun...at 32, you should really not tie yourself in your house...you must go out once in a while to get connected with friends...of course, this goes without saying that you should not exchange it with your household responsibilities...you can always be a good housewife even while having fun with friends at times...it is just a matter of balancing things out, with your family of course as your priority. You did not say if you have children...but nevertheless, you should have some diversion once in a while, with your family, or with some good friends. Definitely, there is still hope for you. It's really just a matter of choice...
