Are there any relatives that you avoid?

I have quite a few that have not seen me in years. I believe that I am free to choose my associations and not based on anything other than our ability to maintain a positive and sincere relationship.

Yes, I do have relatives that I prefer not to see. I moved away from them because they can't mind their own business. My family is in one state and I am 4 states away. I am much happier and it is best. Just because we are related doesn't mean we have to talk or be friends.

Isn't is just great to get away from them. Why people stay around people that they are in constant conflict with, I will never understand. I think that some people just enjoy drama.
