Does Anyone or Has Anyone Live in Tennessee????

Me and my sister are moving to TN we are pretty sure that is where, in October. We currently live in California. Apartments are cheapest out there and people are SO nice.
But I had a few questions about that state. So if you have lived there or are now could you tell me:
1. Does it snow often? Where does it snow the most? Least?
2. Do you know how much minium wage is? Do all places pay that for part time jobs?
3. Are there any kinda laws for pets that I should know about?
4. Anything else you want to tell me?

I am from Tennessee. Lived here all my life.
Yes, it does snow some, but not much. It is more likely to snow more around Knoxville and the mountains, but where I am we usually get ice instead of snow.
Min wage is 5.25 i think. That is just the lowest they are allowed to pay you, does not mean every place in TENN pays that low. I havent had a job paying minimum wage since i was 17.

I am a Filipino born and raised here in the Philippines. A tropical country in the Southeast Asian region we only have 2 seasons here: rainy and summer.
I am hoping that soon I can also experience other seasons like winter and fall.
