I've always been fascinated by Joan of Arc. It was amazing that she lead an army when she was so young, and her tragic ending just made her more fascinating. I'm also very interested in the Tudors -Henry the VII, his wives, Lady Jane Grey (who also was killed young), Elizabeth I.

I like Henry VIII too. The Tudor era is such an interesting time to study. Another thing that is fascinating about Joan Of Arc is that she was female warrior and the men followed her.

George Washington is my favorite because I think he is a brilliant person. He is very unselfish.

The first and only president that really didn't want the job.And since he didn't want it, he only did 2 terms and then finally got home to Mount Vernon.I like him too.

I am really fond of Martin Luther King, Jr and Abraham Lincoln. Because they did great things for people of color. I hope to live up to their example someday.

abraham lincoln - remember abraham lincoln
I also have lots and one of them is Abraham Lincoln. He is best remembered for his vital role as the leader in preserving the Union during the Civil War and beginning the process that led to the end of slavery in the United States. He is also remembered for his character, his speeches and letters, and as a man of humble origins whose determination and perseverance led him to the nation's highest office.

What I admire about him is that he had a dry sense of humor. And he was prone to depression and yet he did what he had to do.
