I disagree...Personally, I find relationships (platonic and romantic) more important than any material possession, however cliche that sounds. And, one thing money cannot buy you is the number of genuine people who you have in your life. You can always throw money around and buy people who are interested in profiting from your success. But, nothing is better than having people around who genuinely love and care for you. Plus, money tends to accentuate the bad in people. If I were rich I'd always feel the need to look over my shoulder or watch my step. There will always be someone out to use you in some way. So, if you are speaking of material wealth, or even short-term social enjoyment, there's no doubt millionaires have a lot of control there. But, in the end they are humans just like everyone else and no less vulnerable to heartbreak or disappointment from other people.

In a way, yeah... I have to agree with your statement. Money basically buys you every thing you want in this world. Only a few things are exceptional, which could not be bought by money. Overall, many people are materialistic nowadays so it is easy to empower people using the influence of money.
