Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows-Snape, the big shock!

For anyone who's finished Deathly Hallows already(I read it in 8 hours)was anyone else surprised by the revelation that Snape was in love with Harry's mom and was willing to do anything to protect her sacrifice, including killing Dumbledore, at his request? I was STUNNED by the fact that all along he was really on Dumbledore's side. After all, he killed the man, but that was all part of the bigger plan. Not to mention the fact, that at one point Petunia(Lily's Sister) had asked Dumbledore if she could attend the school, too? No wonder she was sooooo bitter. He said no:) Lily and Snape were friends! Another shocker. What shocked me the most was the death of Lupin and Tonks, right after Tonks had their baby. How sad. And of course Fred Weasley. Mad Eye, not so much...but poor Hedwig. That really hurt. I know how much Harry loved that Owl. It was all the more shocking to find out that Harry had also had one of the Hallows(his cloak)and that Dumbledore had always had the stone and the wand. It was a great secondary plot. And of course the way everything got twisted around on Voldemort, he he. That was always going to happen. He underestimated Dumbledore and most of all Harry. And yes, the poor boy died, but he came back and that was the best part. Of course, Narcissa's lie to Voldemort didn't hurt. That was the most interesting part of the whole thing. The Malfoys helping Harry. It was totally awesome. What does everyone else think?
