I don't want to be one of those people who comehere and make a big stink about leaving MYlot and are coaxed back by the pleading responses but I really feel like my time here is coming to an end. I am really starting to get very busy with my website design and want to devote a lot more time over at Associated Content and the time I spend here takes away from that. I also have a lot of personal sh!t going on that I'm not going to get into here. This is not a definite "I'm out of here" type statement as I still plan on being around just not that much during the day....we'll see how things go in the next little bit...it's never been about the money for me here, but it's an awful lot of time and effort for very little reward

I'm glad to read you are not going entirely as the good old members have to stay otherwise this site will be useless.
Good luck with your writing and I hope all the shite gets sorted out.
By the way, love the nails;P

I'm not going to beg you to stay, after all, it's your life. I will miss you though. Your topics are always fun, and there appear to be more and more nasty people on this website that are malicious and spiteful for no reason.
I just hope you come and visit now and again ;) if it's time you're short on, why not just post when you're bored or not busy? That's what I do. OK, it doesn't pay as well, but I don't get as bored as I would being on here all day!
:( x

thanks becca...that's what I plan on doing for now. I'm just sitting having lunch and decided to pop in for a half hour or so...it's more about limiting my time here rather than going completely. If I can do that then I'll stick around

Good boy! It's so much easier that way. I remember when I first got this I was on here all the time, and I think it did me harm! Now I come on for an hour occasionally at work when I have nothing to do.. a lot harder to reach payout, but it's still a nice website! x

I fully understand Inked. Seems a lot of the guideline-following, old memebers who have been around awhile are cutting back drastically. (myself included) The cheats are winning and I just hate it...but that is how it goes. This morning I spotted someone (quite by accident) who takes a new 'word' and searches it. Then copies/pastes the same response to every discussion that has that word in the title. This involves MANY posts. Think of the money this user is siphoning from myLot. Then there are the countless (seriously one day I counted over 100) posts begging for readers to join this or that program. It is really becoming miserable and not worth it. Then a user who follows the guidelines and posts...earns 26 cents!!! Nope, I can earn more doing many other things. Plus, it isn't even all about the money...it is the time. I need to be doing things for my job which gets into full swing in about 12 days! I look forward to crossing paths when we do come here. You are a great person, wonderful writer and have the best sense of humor I have run across in years!

thanks crazy....it's been people like you that have made me stick around as long as I have. I'll still be in here but will cut it back to about a half hour- an hour per day and will most likely just respond to my friends discussions...at least those are people I like and whose opinions I respect

Well, I like to say it was nice responding to your discussions, and will look forward to the ones to come. I hope that your personal stuff that's going on, will solve itself in time. This is how I see it, less time here means you have found something else that requires more of your time. I hope soon, that I can get to say I won't be coming here as often either.

We will miss you too, but I understand, this site is becoming less entertaining, less about good conversation and interesting friends and more about promoting other money making sites and spamming by those who believe it will make them more money.
I check in every day but rarely stay long enough to write anything because there is too much garbage to dig through to find any good discussions.
Good luck in your other endeavors, and hope to run into you here from time to time.

Hey, Inked!
Congrats on the upswing in your design and AC businesses, good for you! It's a wonderful thing for you, may you only get more and more busy and successful!
Your friends will miss you, but we'll be content knowing you are doing well. Just pop in as you can. Good luck with your work!

Well best of luck to you whatever you decide to do. I will miss your writing here but I read you stuff on AC a good bit and will keep up with you over there. You are one of the good ones I will hate to see you go. Keep writing, whatever you do.

I am thinking the same thing. I mean, you do make some money but it's not the best money. But i have met a lot of good friends and for that I am greatful!

You will be missed, but I do understand. I don't even want to think about how much of my life has been spent on this site since I found it, but it's gotta be a bunch. I really need to get back to writing on AC as well. But there's something so satisfying about quick little posts here, especially when writing an article for AC might take 15 minutes or more!

Just because your busy with other stuff it doesn't necessarily mean you have to quit something. This is where a lot of people get it wrong. Instead of just doing something less, they normally just quit it totally. That's what I don't understand. Just because you can't dedicate the same amount of time as you used to for something, doesn't mean you have to quit.
So talking about what you said, just check myLot less often, that way you won;t give up what you like doing, and you can continue with your other daily routines. :)
I hope this helps. :)

I think that even f you only cme on here when you get a spare moment and do not earn much in terms of money, I like the fact that we can all have our opinions on different topics and that is the biggest reward for me. I am not on here all day typing as I know some are but still enjoy the odd moment to myself when I can slip off into my own little world. I think that if you have a lot goig on and it is the best choice for you to leave, maybe you shoudl keep your account open and post the odd comment and come bak when you are ready rather tahn leavig altogether. I hope you sort your problems soon, and If you do decide to leave I wish you only the best.
