Becoming a Domain Name Reseller

It's two years ago, when I was registring a domain name for a friend of mine (peteroasen.org). I was looking around not satisfied with the prices at Networksolutions. They were to high when I compared a little bit through the internet. Finally I found Premium Domain Resellers (http://www.premiumdomainresellers.com), where I became my own domain name reseller. They offered me Google AdWords Credit of $100 and so I took my start as a domain name reseller. I liked the most, that there is only a annual fee of $198, but no other obligations or risks and no minimum buys. This was very important to me, because I wanted to limit the risk to a minimum. I had a couple of friends, whose domain names I could switch over and soon got new customers who bought domain names and hosting plans. I bought a virtual dedicated server for easy hosting my swiss customers, who don't speak english. It is still running and it's very flexible. There are a whole bunch of web applications ready to install, wherever I want. Maybe you share your opinion on beeing a domain name reseller? - tinu
