I DELETED TWO FRIENDS FROM MY LIST, the first one, she constantly boast on her beauty and gives BR to those who flatter her.
Second friend, she was inactive,She just made one post since i accepted her friend's request and i didnot find her posts after that in mylot.
If i am to delete all my inactive friends i must have only a handful here. Just as in my real life.

Thank you youless, its so nice that you have replied to every response..
You respect everyone's feeling here, otherwise you would have answered some of the responses and would have started some other discussion.

There's no need to delete friends from your list because they can not cause you any harm infact the study done by moneytalks shows "subscribers with larger amounts of friends and who are popular through out myLot are the ones that make a decent amount of money"

No, I have not done this. I can't say that I never would, but it would have to be pretty bad for me to want to delete a friend.
Now what I have done one time is cancel the email notifications for one of my friends because I was getting 20-30 discussion emails at a time from this person, often at several different times of the day (approaching 100 or more discussions per day) and none of them were anything I had a genuine enough interest in to reply.
Perhaps I should have just deleted the friend, but that seemed too mean. I just got tired of the flood in my inbox... if I see something from this person in the "Discussions my friends started" section, I would certainly respond.

Yes before I have done that. But lately, I realized it's better to have lots of friends. So what the heck! I don't care if they don't respond to my discussion. Now, once I have a friend request, I just approve them all. I also notice that those people who have lots of friends are the ones who get lot of responses hehehe. I don't know it's hard to tell. I am responding to discussions right now trying to earn more before the month ends.

Initially in my friends list there where about 130 friends and now there are only around 90 friends, and so i have deleted some friends.
Some friends sent me spam messages, and some in of them, i found that they are here only in mylot for seeking their sites promoted, and never participate in my responses right from becoming a friend.
One thing i would like to say here, youless, of the 90 friends i have i hardly invited more than 10 of them.
For me, there is no distinction between an online friend and a friend whom we meet in daily.
Why cant be an online friend true and caring for the other..
I feel that there are some good friends like you..who are selfless.
Thank you and take care.

I have deleted just one person from my friend list here. It was because they would post so many discussions that I had to wade through the "discussions my friends have started" to find things I wanted to reply to. Quite simply, they never started a discussion topic that I cared about. So being lazy, I deleted them. That and they seemed to like arguing with everyone.

I have not had to, but I'm really new to mylot and I don't have alot of friends yet. Each day I seem to get one or two. But it seems like people have tons of friends. Do you just invite anyone or do you wait till you like someone's topic.

Hi youless! I have never deleted someone on my friend's list and I never will. Even in friendster, I don't delete my friends. In the first place, I was the one who approved them to be added on my friends. And those I added, of course, I want them to be my friends. :)
Have a wonderful Monday morning! God bless! (",)

No - I have never done this and don't feel the need to - that's why I have an extraordinarily large group on my friend's list. One of the first things I do when I log on to mylot is to look at discussions my friends have started, and even if one of them hasn't been active for a while, I do find they have interesting discussions from time to time. Unless someone is rude, hurtful or strange toward me, I will not shut them out.

I have never deleted anyone from my list of friends either. Even as I notice quite a number in my list to be inactive for quite a few months already. I just think they might try to come back after a while. I don't know if someday I will have to clean up. Although, as of now I'd like to keep them and most of them I get to respond in their discussions and they do respond also to mine. I really appreciate that.

I never done that before. But I ever cancel a friend request before. He was a best friend of mine actually. And that was not becoz I didnt want to be his friend no more, but on the other hand its him who didnt want to approve me.
I have reason for that. He was be online few times but still he didnt want to approve me, although I had mentioned it before but still the request were always there.
I guess I was doing the right thing here? What would you do if so?

I have never deleted anyone on my list yet. At least not yet. I'd rather see it crowded than blank... Although, I might have to delete some of it anytime in the future if I am certain that they are inactive. There's no point of retaining people in my list that are not showing up to say 'hello' anymore.
Keep safety...
