Men have the power to stop all abortion!

United States

All men have to do to prevent abortion is stop fu*king, no sperm, no pregnancy. Simple, isn't it? Anyone willing to step up and be the founder of this important, lifesaving movement? It could be the greatest cause for social justice of the 21st century! Yeah, I didn't think so. That's why the men standing around with the gory placards and the hate-filled faces are such complete, despicable hypocrits. Unless and until a global movement along the lines described above begins, men should be removed from the decision about abortion laws. If you are a man and want to prevent abortion, keep your di*ck in your pants. Once you plant the seed it's the farmer who gets to decide the outcome. By farmer, I mean the owner of the field. Fair warning: I am truly not in the mood to be attacked personally. If you don't believe me, check my profile. Some benighted comment in another discussion set me off, that's why I wrote this. I will happily debate this with you, as time permits, but resist the urge to flame, for your own sake. I will postitively melt your coax with my response, if you do not.

The same could be said for women...all they have to do is keep their legs together. This isn't flame, just simple fact. As in all things, there are two sides to every issue. To me, abortion is nothing more than legalized murder.

Hi, Des, good to see you again! You're right, one can say the same for women, and people often do. I just wanted to highlight the flip side of the coin, the responsibility goes both ways. Hope you're having a good summer! Thanks for stopping by!

love not war - make love not war
Ooh! Garden you scare me.....sure blame it on the male farmers. why not? I'm a farmer too and an expert in my field. What do u have to say about that? "Complete despicable idiots," you say? I'm not going to attack anyone! I'm a lover not a fighter!and the owner of the field as well. I'd love to have my "coax" melted too!

Hi, barehugs! Actually, I said they were hypocrits, not idiots, although I imagine there's as many dolts in their ranks as you'd find in any other group. Hmmm... I know you can recycle the wire out of coax, I never thought of a practical use for the covering, though.... wonder if there's any way to make the stuff into edible underwear? ;)

Well said my girl - couldn't agree more! No one has the right to tell me what to do with my own body actually - male or female! My body - my choie:-)) Thanks for the discussion.

Well apart from the fact that I wouldn't attack any one personally , you know I think you are great and that I agree with you! These guys should be looking at their fellow men who vanish without a trace and offer no help , support or love either to their babies or their mothers rather than picking on women who are left to 'carry the burden' don't you think? Well said sweety! Hugs to you and Dot! xxx

Hi, mummymo! Hugs right back at ya! I'll have a discussion about Dot this weekend, but we are feeling better about the hospital where we went for her second opinion. This is definitely the place for her to be! I have believed in the Zero Population Growth movement since it started back in the 1970's. I am so alternately sickened and frightened by the size of the human population that I have begun to refer to it as the human infestation! Got ripped for that in another discussion, somebody said I'm a people hater. LOL - mostly, they're right, I love my friends but am not really crazy about the other 6.6 billion of us!

Definitely! In fact I heard a news report about groups that were trying to deal with the problems of over population! I just think that men don't realise the first thing about the feelings or complexity of either pregnancy or abortion and should stop attacking the women who often feel badly enough when they feel abortion is the best option for them! GG has put it lot better than I could though! x

Well cant speak for anyone but myself but I have done my part to stay in monogamous relationships. But it takes two to get into trouble so its more than one persons fault as you pointed out.

Not really. It's actually a reverse-sexism abstinance-only anti-abortion campaign satire. But thanks for your point of view.

I think the point of the topic is guys who dont know how or when to keep their pants zipped. Meaning if they dont want a baby than keep it in their pants also. But thanks for your point of view.

You ask a very important question, BethTN81, very important indeed! I'm sure there would always be people who want however many children they might, and so abortion wouldn't be an issue as long as they were monagamous. It might actually be good for the Earth as a whole, a major reduction in the number of human beings in the world by some means other than plague or global war. Couldn't hurt to try, right?

LOL.... my only regret about not having kids has always been the fact that stupid people are reproducing like rabbits, it's a darn shame to waste my potential contribution to the gene pool!

I see where you are going. I have always thought about how to stop certain people from reproducing. We have way too many stupid people in this world. Start with them first! hehehhee

Whilst I appreciate your views on the hypocrisy issue, I was always raised to believe that it was a womans right to say 'No', and abortion would not be neccessary if women exercised this right, instead of blaming the man!

Hi, Max, of course, you are quite right. I see a lot of the women's responsibility spoken of in these discussions. I only wanted to point out the fairly obvious, it goes both ways. Thanks for stopping by!

I agree with you..that is why i got a visectomy a long time ago..it is better for the male to take the danger out of being close.my wife had a girl and 13 months later she had a boy and that was in 1970 and 1971. I have never regretted this decesion..now it is acedemic but a lot of "men" are afraid it will take the "stud" out of the..this is rubbis..but what do I know? my son never had any children and he got married in 1997 but my daughter has two boys and a girl..but she is not having any more children as she took care of herself..but I just heard the biggest killer of pregnant women is the man who made her pg..is this a valid statistic? i just heard that last week..but in Russian the average women gets about 7 or8 abortions and in China and Japan the rate is higher..i know in the past some countries like japan made birthconttrol illegal for the women as they wanted the men to be in control and they were facing a negative birth growth..like in Italy

"but I just heard the biggest killer of pregnant women is the man who made her pg..is this a valid statistic?" I am pretty sure that is a valid statistic. Women are also more likely to die of abuse while pregnant than at any other time in their life. When you consider how vulnerable a woman is while pregnant, it makes sense. She may have to leave her job, making her financially dependent on her partner/abuser. Her family may shun her, especially if they already didn't like her partner. The changes her body is going through may harm her self-esteem making her feel like no man but her abuser would want her. The added weight & change in a woman's center of gravity make it harder for her to move quickly/ get away from an attacker. A man who's already bordering on abusive, may just snap under the added pressure of an unplanned/unwanted pregnancy. Not that I am excusing his behavior.

We shouldn't generalize, but men really play an important role cos it is usually they who got the women pregnant and then flee. They got the urge to have a quick shot but become totally ignorant to the whole thing after that. *I meant to refer to the partners of abortion victims.* However, we should also treasure ourselves and prevent guys from taking their chances on us. Is not the question of stoping or continue f**king, we have to understand individual reasons. I don't support abortion but what if the pregnancy are in denger of take the life of two? I don't support abortion of teenagers, unmarried ladies, but for couples that should be for the interest of saving life.

Maybe I misunderstood what you are saying, but... did you just say that you don't support the choice of abortion for those women who are unmarried, regardless of any health concerns? It is only okay for a married couple to have an abortion.. and that is only okay if the mother and child are at risk? Is that what you just said?

I'm a man and I agree with this. How can we comment in favour/against abortion when WE're the culprits?

Actually, both men and women are to blame! Who can deny it? We have desires and needs, right? What is important in this situation is that both should be responsible enough for their actions. How hard is it to take extra precautionary measures to prevent this thing from happening. Contraceptives help!

Abortion is to kill a life, a defenseless child and his cry is not even heard. Millions of lives are put to an end each year. If all the child are given the chance to live the world will be over populated. That is the fear of government and families.
