Man can I sypathise! My son is 4 months old and although the 15 hours a day has reduced slightly he is now just a complete misery guts. We have tried absolutely everything there is on the market - seriously! and not one bloomin thing has worked. We are now waiting for him to be referred coz everyone agrees that its not normal. He is majorly windy and there is nothing in the UK that you can give them at that age. I am seriously going mental!

Yes!!! And it was horrible! I never thought it would end. Thankfully it is over. However, he went from colic to teething right away.

Little Tummies, they are made by Little Remedies, thats the only thing that worked, other than driving around or walking around the house dancing with him for hours.

My daughter always stopped fussing if I could get her to look at herself in the mirror above the fireplace mantle! Of course, I had to dance in front of the mirror, holding her so she could watch us!

I help raise my neice and when she was a baby she had colic bad. We tried an old home remedy and it worked wonders. Fennel Seed water. Here is a link for more information on how to make the tea: http://www.angelfire.com/il2/purpleflame/Herbs/fennel.html
Here is what we did which is a bit different then the link above. You steep fennel seed in hot water, I don't remember the amounts now but we used a small sauce pan filled 3/4's with water and a couple of teaspoons I believe of fennel seed. You want to steep it till the water is a dark green. Strain and put the water into a sealed container. When the baby has colic make up a 12 oz bottle with an ounce of fennel seed water and the rest regular water. The water will look greenish when mixed. Then let the baby drink. It worked like a charm.

Change the formula , smaller feedings , smaller intervalls between meals , keep the baby upright after feeding and definetly frequent burping

Around 3 weeks after my baby was born she started crying almost all day which drove me completly insane. I would cry at times and just give up trying everything I could to calm her colic. Its weird colic has never occured in my family until now and sad thing is that she is my first and makes me have second thoughts of having another baby because I do not want to go through constant crying for hours on end. For me nothing helped at all so it was pure misery for me.
