Very nice article, lloyd. I especialy liked the information about Ben Franklin. When I visited Philadelphia, his memoriam was the one I spent most of my time viewing. He was a most interesting and intelligent man. I did rate your article, but have yet to leave a comment. I will try to go back later and do so. When I lived in New York, I rarely heard about Burlington. It was always Hoboken or Atlantic City!! We have some towns with cobblestone streets here in Illinois that have wonderful history also. Geneva, Illinois has a wonderful old house that President Grant used to live in. Dixon, Illinois has wonderful history of Ronald Reagan. It was his childhood hometown. i will read it, i am a history fanatic and while i love canadian history, i do enjoy american history as well, especially the era of the american civil war. What i find odd is how america dragged its heels during both world wars...
