What do you think about the Devils moving to Newark?

The Newark arena is good and bad. It's more convenient than the Meadowlands and has public transportation nearby. But, parking in that neighborhood is terrible as is the traffic on a typical workday. The idea was that the arena would help revive the city and provide jobs for residents--this won't happen. I highly doubt they will hire anyone local to work there. There aren't any businesses nearby that will cater to fans--and most fans won't want to stay in the city longer than they need to. The theory that this arena will help the city of Newark is beautiful, but it's going to take a lot more than one sports team with only a few loyal fans to fix the deep societal problems of Jersey's biggest city.
