How Long Does Constant Content Take to Approve/ Reject an Article?

Just a quick question for all those veteran constant contenters out there.
I recently joined, and have thus far submitted 3 (well 4 ) articles. The first one was rejected within a few hours as it was not in .doc format, but I have yet to hear back about the other two, as well as the one that I resubmitted in the correct document type.
How long does it usually take, in your experience, to hear back? It's been about three days so far, I didn't really expect it to take this long- I thought about 24 hours...

I had a bit of a read of the forums over there, and read something written about a month ago about delays, and one of the editors said something like it can tak eup to three days...
If it takes over a week, I'll drop them a friendly email asking if I didn't submit it properly or something ( although I dont think this is the case given the fact that the articles are all showing up under content to be reviewed)...
Have to wait and see I suppose. Gotta admit though, patience is certainly not one of my virtues...
