What the heck is going on? Usually I can't ever fall asleep. All of a sudden recently it is a struggle to stay awake past 9-10 o'clock.
I can't imagine why this is happened. It's like a total flip. I do still have trouble staying asleep though. I don't know if this is because of the pain I'm in or what though.
Any brainstorms?

I also suffer from insomnia, and have a hard time falling asleep. I seldom ever go to bed early, but if i do it normally is because I'm ill or my body has come to a breaking point. Could you just be burnt out and really tired? I hope you are feeling better! Try to get some rest if you can!

I'm not really sure of the reasons for this, but I go through the same thing from time to time. The problem is that I can't seem to stay awake, and then I am back up again in a few hours because I can't stay asleep. It is enough to drive you crazy!

It sure is huh? I wish I could just get on some kind of schedule! That would be wonderful!
Funny thing is, hubby and I seem to have switched roles. Now he stays up almost all night and I am the one knocked out. This man usually falls asleep at the drop of a hat but I have to say.. now that it's summer he has been sleeping till like noon though so he's still getting his sleep.

I have the same problem. I go to bed at night, read until my eyes can no longer stay open and fall asleep immediately. 15 or 20 minutes later I wake up with my heart pounding and cannot fall asleep for hours. I am under a lot of stress because of an irresolvable problem and I know that that is the cause of my insomnia. Over the years I have found some "cures" that help for a while. Of course I could take sleeping pills, but I do not like the idea. What has helped me (at least for a while) was melatonin, corral calcium, Tylenol P.M., some relaxation exercises and, when I really can not take it any more, I drink a glass of warm milk and honey before going to bed.

I feel ya. Now the problem is though that I can't seem to stay awake past 9 or 10.
That waking up with your heart pounding is awful isn't it?
