Hi, I am not a computer savvy with regards on this matter, but maybe I can help you a little bit. Here is my instruction. Note: Some of your drivers, cable, etc. might not load or work well, but I can assure you that this alone would really enhance the speed of your machine without purchasing any SD RAM, etc. First, go to start and press run. Type "msconfig" then press okay. System configuration utility will appear, then press STARTUP. Uncheck or disable all except "ctfmon." Second, from the aforementioned system configuration utility, press SERVICES. Uncheck or disable all except Windows Audio, Cryptographic Services, DCOM Server Process, DHCP Client, Logical Disk Manager, DNS Client, Event Log, Help & Support, Server, Workstation, TCP/IP NetBios Helper, Network Connections, Plug & Play, Remote Procedure Call, Windows Firewall, System Restore Service, Terminal Service, Windows Management, and Wireless Zero Configuration. Please write it down on a piece of paper for guiding purposes. After you do it, press APPLY, Close, then it will prompt you to restart. Please do so. Now, you will be amazed with the speed performance of your machine after you have done it. If you want to bring it back from its original or default setting, again, go to start, press run and type "msconfig." From the System Cofiguration Utility, press GENERAL, then press Normal Startup Disk Cleanup and defragmentation would also help enhancing the speed of your machine. Delete all files that you will see from the prefetch or temp folder. You can do this in a shortcut way by going to start, press run, and type "prefetch" and "temp." Then, delete all those stuffs that you will see. Of course, emtpy your recycle bin. That's it. Hope this would help. Have a nice day!

I am having a problem too, even though now I am using Streamyx. Before this I used dial-up connection and it was even slower. I know that we can upgrade our pc so that it will become faster. If you really want to do it, I recommend that you go to the Plaza Low Yuat and ask around there. I've just been there last month and there are a lot of things to offer. I'm sure you can get the best bargain there.
