i am 22 years old, i lost my virginity "late" and i have slept with one and only guy (it just happened to be my luck that we really get along great---but who knows what future will bring). But i do not see a difference in numbers. Who cares if a person sleeps with one guy or girl or 100 guys or girls, as long if you practice it safely!
we live in a modern world and things like this really should not matter anymore.

I do agree with you. But i think if i had slept with 100 i would feel a little "dirty". Out of all the guys i've slept with i regret sleeping with about 8 of them, so i don't feel very proud :(

I've always wanted to ask my friend something. She is my age and has only been with 1 guy since she was 16. I'm curious; don't you feel like you've missed out on experiencing different things?

it is a very good question... i sometimes find myself wondering about it. i mean i really do not know... questions pop into my head like: my boyfriend is god in bed, but then again is he really? he could be the worst in the world but i do not know that because i never experienced anything else...
can be hard sometimes... but i am still young nobody knows if my first one will actually be my last one... so for now this keeps me comforted.

to me you slept with alot of guys but im not judging you its just my opinion i am 22 and lost my virginity at 15 also but i only had 2 partners and within those 2 i found my soulmate so i dont need to sleep with anyone else

Turn it around and look at how you would think if a guy had slept with that many girls and decide then you will know how you feel about it and how you expect your potential mate to feel about it. I think the numbers game is a false game and if you allow that to control you will be disappointed. I think the only thing that matters is the future, for we cannot change the past.

I totally agree. The number is irrelevant. What matters is the future. It does suck though if you regret sleeping with most of the people you've been with :(

I'm 20 and I've slept with 2. I've been with my husband for 5 years, though, so I haven't had the chance to sleep with any others in that time. I don't think 20 is too many in that long of a time period.

I agree. My daughter's father (we are split up) thinks i've slept with way too many, but it only matters what i think.

"Too many" ..... I guess that depends on how you feel about it, do you feel you are being too easy or simply moving too fast??? ..... Ask yourself are you happy with how you're living? .... If so, then don't let anyone tell you 20 is too many.

whats mean too many?if you did you like and what you want,then it's not too many because you want it and you need it.im 29 and i had around 10 partners before,i don't think it was too much because they came to me in different time to fulfill my need.

I think in our culture today it's still kind of sexist where a girl is a h*e but a guy is the man. If you were a guy, you'd be getting props. I think it depends on also who you ask, like my bf for instance I told him I'd been with only 6 men and he said "wow, that's alot, I'm getting sloppy 7ths". Yeah we didn't speak for a while and he still hasn't gotten any. I can only imagine if he knew what the real number was, lol. Personally I hate to deny myself the things I really, really want and will go with my intuition and if that leads to some pretty hot nights then yay me. You're young and as long as you're being safe then I say live your life and if that means some hot nights then yay you!
