'hurt' video

"Hurt" the song although originally by nine inch nails, became much more of a hit in my opinion when Johnny Cash did his version of the song. so many emotions could be heard in his voice, and they certainly could be seen in the video of hurt.

I was out giving blood earlier this week and this video came on the telly. At the end of video, I had to hold back my tears so that I would not cry like a baby in front of all the nurses. I love this video soo much and as a big Johnny Cash fan, I recognized a lot of the images in the video. I was too a little worried about this song being good or not as I am a large fan of NIN as well, but I really enjoy it.

I'm a huge Nine Inch Nails fan, so I was a little leery when I heard that Johnny Cash was going to cover one of my favorite NIN songs. But I think he did a beautiful job with the song, and the video is similarly amazing. It makes me so sad, though, because he had lost his wife so recently, and you could just tell that his interpretation of the song had to do with the pain that he felt over losing her.

It's such a wonderful song and video. I read somewhere that the part of the video where June is in the background was an accident. She wasn't supposed to be in the shot, but she came down to watch. The camera man included her in the shot and the director thought that everything in her gaze made it perfect for the video.
