Motokrzr K1... I need help

I recently bought a phone by motorola, the motokrzr k1 gold edition... I want to know how to disable the autoupdate function of this phone but I cannot find its location.. It says in the manual that it is located in the Settings Initial setup Time & Date Autoupdate... but everytime I go there (to the time & date menu), I am only prompted to change the time.. I can't even see the "AUTOUPDATE" function... Help!!!
