do you like spicy foods?

I love hot and spicy food. It all began when I was 18yo and my boyfriend was from Sri Lanka. His mother invited me over for dinner and she cooked her mild version of a Sri Lankan dinner party. My eyes began to water, my nose began to run, I thought my tongue was going to jump out my mouth and run for the refrigerator. But after awhile of lots of pain to my palet, I got a liking for the hot and spicy food. Eventually I was able to eat chillie straight from a jar. Now alot of years later I cook hot and spicy food all the time. Not with my Sri Lankan boyfriend, but my Australian hubby loves it. And luckily for me there is a local spice shop which sells the pastes ready made imported from Sri Lanka. Can't go past their chicken curry paste, or a coconut sambal, some string hoppers as well as a lovely lime or jackfruit pickle - its all so tasty and delicious - when I eat this type of food its like there is a party going on in my mouth.

hey josan!I like spicy food too!In my country,there's 'sambal'.It's green chillies added with some prawn paste.It's better than hot sauce.You gotta try it!

I love spicy foods...they say its not good for your stomach, but I have to have spicy foods all the time..I put hot sauce on just about everything and when I know I am going to a restaurant and they don't have the right kind of barbecue sauce, I have a bottle in my purse..lol

I don't, not really except on rare occasions when my palate really looks for it, but I am not really into spicy food. But my husband is, if he can put tabasco sauce or hot pepper sauce on it, he likes it extra hot, and he loves munching on peppers, it's like a snack. He's the one who loves to eat spice.

I love spicy foods especially in pizza or chicken...I like kentucky spicy fried chicken and pizza hut or greenwich with hot sauce...my husband loves spices too every we eat we have vinegar with onion, a little salt and sili in tagalog word...

I do like spices. I don't like overly hot kind of spices, but I do like them spicy just not overly kind. lol My husband loves hot foods, me I just like that bit of punch to the bite.
