I can consider these as two of the best series books ever produced that made it to the Bigscreen.. Lord of the Rings has ended few years back but still it's impact is felt today, it has garnered billions of earnings and captured millions of audiences during its prime.. On the otherhand, Horry Potter series has recently released its final chapter of the book signifying the end of one of the most watched movie series in history..total earnings reached billions too..
-- For all those movie fans out there, Could you compare the two? Which one has the more impact? From its original books to the Bigscreen??

I am not really a Harry Potter fan so I have not seen the movie adaptation of the book. I go for The Lord of the Rings. I have read the four books written by J.R.R Tolkien and I loved how the author was able to transport the reader to middle earth. As for the movie version, I can say that I was not disappointed. I love how the directors recreated the fantasy world, they gave life to what readers could only imagine. I loved all three movies. And I say these are the only movie adapatation that stayed true to the novel.
