My Cat ... She Is Absconding

oh that's really sad. once my cat was just gone for about a week. we all were hell worrying about her.. but it all ended as well as she returned after that, covered all over in dust. don't lose heart perhaps she would return too i guess sometimes cats need to go on such solidarity exploration of the world..!:)

My mother had a cat that left home for a month or so and then came back. They come and go like that quite a bit. She will probably come back. It's not just the male cats that wander though they do it more.

I know how you feel..I lost my angel now at least a month ago and it broke my heart ..I had had angel for 2 years and he disappeared...I suspect foul play since Angel was a black cat.

That is very sad. I would be devastated if my cat disappeared. What have you done to search for her? Driving around the neighbourhood calling out her name? Put up a missing poster for her evertyhwhere? Put flyers in all your neighbours letter boxex? I do hope you find her.

This post shows that you are missing your pet so much..hope she comes back safely.May be she lost her way and wandering somewhere...because i have seen some cats trying to enter our house and their behaviour shows that they are brought up under the immense care by someone. my mom being a pet loves feeds such cats or dogs... update when she is back home..

I hope your cat is fit and healthy. They do sometimes run off and find a different home. My sister and her husband have a farm and cats are often wandering into their yard and deciding to stay for good. Nobody seems to know where they come from, but I think they probably like the fact that there plenty of mice to hunt.. :-)

oh am sp sorry to hear this I know I would hate to loose one of my dogs for getting lost and never know what happened to them all I can do it give ya a hug. HUgs

I hope she comes back home. I had a few cats myself that wondered off for a few days. I use to leave away from town in a area with hardly no cars so i felt like it was safe to let them go outside.I felt sad also whenever they came up missing.

Hon, I am so sorry that your kitty has disappeared on you. I hope she makes it back to you safe and sound very soon. It's always so heartbreaking when we lose our dear pets. It's like losing and missing a family member. I will keep you and your darling kitty in my thoughts and prayers.

I had a cat that stayed away from the house for months. He came back, but bit my mother in the leg afterwards. The outside life seemed to have made him aggressive. I hope your kitty comes back save and sound soon. LOL.

I feel for you I know how worrisome it is for you to miss your cat. I have heard from some that cats can be gone for weeks on end and then come home I hope she will come home to your soon.
