When do you choose your best response?

When do you choose your best response? Do you wait a day, at the end of the day or a week? When do you like to set a time for best response. Do you not mark one if there is none, or choose what you have to work with? Also does anyone know what "my unresolved discussions" is all about?

I usually wait a week, but sometimes you have someone that just gives you that certain responce that you know it gave you all the 411 and all the details that you were looking for, and that's when I pick them as my best responce, even if their my 2nd responce.

I wait at least a week, and possibly a month to give a best response. I usually wait until at least four people have responded. Unresolved are those no one has written a response to and do wish that there were a delete button to get rid of them other than putting a link to them on my other posts along with a "please, please, I beg you, read and responde!"

Thank you this was very helpful! Looks like most people wait a week! I will try and do mine this week.

I always choose a best response answer for my discussion. Even if there is not one I choose one still. I usually choose my best responses about a week after the discussion was started. I wait a week because I want to give everybody a chance to respond. Unresolved discussions are discussions that are not marked with a best response.
