Yes to that! I usually hang pictures of my family on the wall beside the stairs. I do this for the simple reason that when I'm having a particular bad day, and negative feelings overwhelm me, my son's pictures make it all go away. Whenever I feel so awful, but I get to see a picture of my son's smiling face, I feel a smile starting to form on my face. It's as if he's telling me to smile my problems away just for the day.

The ones hanging in the livingroom are all framed. The ones in my computer room are attached to the wall with tape for right now. I need to get more photo albums. I have alot of pictures in boxes that need to be sorted..

Hi,
I have 2 daughters and my house is full of pictures of them. I have them on the wall, mantlepieces, desks...you name it. In terms of the rest of my family I do pretty much put those pictues in albums to look at during certain times.
cheers,

That's ok too.. Everyone is different sometimes people prefer them not hanging for good reason.. I know I never used too but cause I was afraid when people shut the doors they would fall on the floor and break the glass.. I normally put them next to the doors..

I actually took a page out of my friend's book and started a family picture wall. Albums are sometimes such a pain, but I have some, but keep most on my PC now. However, I have a wall devoted to picutres of my son, parents, grandparents and some of my stepson with his grandpa. I also take pictures out in nature and put them on my wall, too. I have a gorgeous moving Japanese Garden waterfall which I complimented with work of my own. It adds a certain touch to a mostly male household.:)

Yes they can be a pain but at least you know you got them in a safe place what i don't like is that the big pictures and there is no room for the smaller ones.. I normally buy the small albums because the are much easier to handle at times.. Thanks for your reply!

Yes I do hang pictures on the wall of my family members. It was passed on to our generations to do the thing. It looks good to see your ancestors pictures and see how they were dresses up before.

I used to have a family and friends gallery up the stairwell leading to our bedroom. Then after awhile it began to feel claustrophobic so I decided to make a scrapbook of family and friends. I find it works well when I want to take a walk down memory lane.
I do have cluster of pictures on loved ones throughout the house though on bookshelves in my office, great room and bedroom. They are wonderful reminders of why I love who I do and how happy I am that they give that love back in so many special ways.

Since I recently moved I don't have much on my walls at all at the moment. I am planning of having a "photo wall" with pictures of pretty much everything from my friends and relatives to scenery and vacation photos.
I'm also planning on putting up a small family shrine, where me and my fianceƩ can remember our relatives that are no longer with us.

That sounds so neat.. A photo wall I have never really seen anything like it though I think it would be pretty neat mainly with all kinds of pictures on the wall.. That would be a very neat project to do I hope it turns out really nice for you.. Thanks for your reply!
