Yes, as long as you don't share needles (or things like that) or you don't have a cut/get cut where their blood can affect you.

There is far too much education available on this to even ask such a question these days.

Yet you failed to state what you think. Appearently everyone is suppose to make an assumtion of where you stand based upon the education these days? So what do you think?

An HIV infected person is not necessarily sick until the virus gets out of hand. Millions of people are living with HIV and are NOT sick. They are in danger, if treatment is discontinued, of being overwelmed by the virus which inhibits the immune system and then eventually becoming sick.

You should be aware of the blisters and tiny cuts in the mouth of the person who has HIV. Only then you could get infected, when there is a blood contact... So i would say there is a very tiny chance of getting HIV from kissing someone... it has to be very very back luck :P

Well if you know for sure they have HIV then i wouldn't. Maybe it's because im too paranoid.

Saliva, tears, sweat and urine can have the virus in them, but in such small concentrations that nobody has ever been infected through them. However, if any body fluid is visibly contaminated with blood, the risk of transmission exists So if the person has poor dental hygeine bleeding gums etc u risk getting infected:)

And your bases for this conclusion? You think it is not safe because... And you have some example to cite or evidence to present that would back up your position?

yes! You cannot transmit AIds or can be infected just with physical touch, eating, or kissing yes unless you are involved in shagging

I had an uncle with HIV and the danger of kissing him was all his even on his cheek. The germs you carry are more dangerous, of course depending on the severity of the infection, to them than they are to you.

Kissing is considered a very low-risk activity when it comes to HIV/AIDS...but remember that small oral cuts or bleeding from gums, etc., can be a source of infection. (Avoid deep or "tongue" kissing.) Again, low risk, but not NO risk. Take care!
