For those of you like myself who just don't have the money to get a pedicure every week or two, what do you do to keep your feet soft and looking good. How do you make your feet look like you just got a pedicure without spending hundreds of dollars every year on them?

Bath & Body lotions. They are so creamy and rich. I always put them on my feet after taking a shower. Also in the winter, if my feet get real dry-I rub Vasoline on them and put a heavy pair of socks on and sleep in them. The next morning they are soft and moisturized.

I have never thought of vasoline. I will have to try that. I did have someone tell me once that their grandmother would put crisco in the can on her feet every night before bed with a heavy pair of socks and she never had any dry skin on her feet because of it.

Well I'm a Nutrimetics Consultant so this will probably sound really bizarre... but Avon's Pedibrasion Scrub with "diamond" particles works wonders and is about five bucks for 100 grams which lasts for AGES! That and their Overnight Treatment for Extremely Dry Feet work fantatsic on my feet, which often get really icky becuase I wear thongs so much!
If you want a really cheap alternative to a foot scrub, try sea salt, or sand, or a combination of the two. A bit of lemon juice, water and salt is amazing! Rubbing vitamin e cream, sorbolene cream or even just olive oil into your feet after you have scrubbed them with an exfoliator will do wonders.
I don't have time to use a foot spa, but soaking your feet every once in awhile is nice, and softens them.
Other homemade recipes for footscrubs include oats and honey (smells divine- also is beautiful on your face!), and pretty much anything else gritty you have lying around.
Googling homemade recipes for foot scrubs can you give you a HUGE number of different alternatives. :)

I go barefoot, I walk in the mud when it rains. These are the best I can do for you. Vanity is not my thing. Also letting the nail breath without nail polish is always good. That money is best spent in other areas or starting a savings account in my eyes. I hope you find what you are looking for.
