It absolutely disgusts me that this country, as large as the United States..sits back and watches absolute and unwarranted (not that genocide ever is) Genocide going on in Darfur...children running for their very lives after their parents and siblings have been slaughtered..their villages torched and burned to the ground...I am but one person, but I am aghast that our government does basically nothing but send a note or someone from an Embassy nearby to speak to those who head up the Mujahadeen (tyrants who ride in and do unspeakable acts to women, children and the elderly in their villages, prior to burning them down)...
Does anyone here have any thoughts on this...??

I read articles, but I have done research as well. I don't want my opinion to be based on one source. The problem is there are different factions of Muslims trying to control that region. One takes control, but it is swiftly overrun by rogue military units, upsetting any kind of stability that has risen up. When a certain sect of Muslims do get control, they declare a war on the others and try to eliminate them from the earth. It will take more than the U.S., it will take more than a England or France. George Clooney cannot even stop it. OK, I said that with sarcasm. The neighboring countries have to take a stand, but they are so screwed up, they don't bother with it. Harboring terrists is very prevalent over there and it will take nearby nations to rise up and defeat these raiders, rapists, murderers, and sodomites. The kind of cruelty they display is earth shattering.
