I watched one the Filipino's game show and when the host interviewed the couple, their love story went like this, the boy met his teacher during his college years after some time, the boy courted the teacher and now the boy is still studying and they have a baby. What can you say about it? Just try to imagine the age gap. Maybe it's okay for me if the boy is older than the teacher but it's not! What can you say?

my first reaction would be to say that this is all wrong. I come from a family of teachers and there are boundaries to student/teacher relationships. Upon giving it some thought, I think it is not up to me to judge. I have a very good friend that dated and married her teacher. Their marriage is still strong several years later and many children later. who are we to judge such things?

Is this what we call LOVE MOBES IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS?.. haha.. i agree with you but my point is the teacher(girl) is older than her student(boy). Isn't in the code of ethics of Teaching?

yes you are right. there is a code of ethics most definitly with teachers. Going beyond the code...the age difference does matter. My friend was nearly 18 and her teacher was 20. each situation is different really. its not always black and white.

I have seen and heard many stories of such relationship its seems a bit crazy and i always wonder how come a teacher allow to grow such feeling between them and the student. Its his/her student and they have the right to show them or mould for the right path not to get emotionally involved. I think its the teachers to get the blame as he was not doing his duty not well, students can also be wrong but in the end students are students.

I agree! teachers are our parents in school. And it's kinda gross if you imagine that you are having a relationship with your own 2nd parents. Right?
