Immigrating

As soon as my K1 visa is aproved I will be immigrating to the USA and getting married. The process is very complex and some stages of it seem puzzling to me such as part of the medical I have to pay for includes a chest X-ray to check I dont have TB. I find that one strange seeing I was imnunized against TB at high school. I was wondering if there is anyone else thats went through the process of immigrating to the states out there and what your experience was like?

I don't think you can be immunized against TB. The test you are given in high school usually is to see if you have been exposed to TB already but is only a skin test not an immunization. At least that is what was explained when my oldest daughter recently had her TB skin test. The ches x-ray can show if you have active TB. Sorry the process is so puzzling. It's for your safety and ours.

After the 6 needle skin test showed clear they followed up the test with an immunizing shot. Still have the scar from that
