Suppose all of a sudden Facebook was to completely close down and shut off for good. All of your information was gone, pictures, slideshows,messages, and contact with people that you had lost track of, or people who you had forgotten how to talk and play with. Do you have a copy of all your dear ones e-mails, or some kind of a back up plan.

I have just started backing up all my information as i saw a friend lose everything and I thought I would just die if I lost everything, oh I could imagine the stress, so I have starting backing up everything.

Wow...sorry to hear that. I know you posted this five months ago and I am confused because I thought the site was still up and running.
I can appreciate your sentiments though because I love Mylot and the sense of Cyber community that develops as we spend time and chat with on-line friends.
Hopefully that won't happen with Mylot because I would miss the site and the people on it.

Sorry I misread your into...I realized after re-reading it that you were speaking in theoretical terms. Oh well, I guess it was a senior's moment...and I am glad to see it was just a 'suppose' and not the reality.

Wow, good thinking point. I have many friends of old on Facebook, and I think I shall start making a note of their contact details using good old fashioned pen and paper. As for the photos, well, this would be ok as long as my pc didn't go down at the same time, as I have all my photos on here too.
