The 'Weight of Love'...

I think it means, what you are willing to do for love.

If you value love and your relationship how far would you go for the sake of it? It's something like measuring your love to someone, how you totally express your feelings towards the person, how serious you are with her. It's the love being expressed with much weight, with commitments, if possible with sacrifices just to let someone you love know that you are darn in love with her.

I have not heard this term "weight of love" before, but I would think it is when a relationship gets "heavy" as we would say here in the UK. We say it is heavy because suddenly we have a dependence on somebody else who seem to make our life worth living. This I feel could be likened to a "madness" because we get along before we met the person, why on earth would we think we can't get along without them now? But that's love I suppose :-)

I understand what you mean by the 'Weight of Love'. In my experience love can come in so many forms & can lift you so high or destory you. Love is such a wonderfully dangerous thing that is both blessed & cursed. If you love someone & let them love you then you open every part of you to them & allow them to see you vnerable, strong, weak, high evrything & this can be dangerous because if they abuse it they can destory you in so many ways but if they love you back then you can reach highs that you could never imagine or reach alone. I consider myself blessed to have been loved & experience that, but i have also been cursed & loved someone who abused not only my love but me too. Love has destroyed me & saved me. Everyone in some way spend there life searching for love & in some way it dictates every path that we take in life & in that way there is a 'Weight of Love' because few of us find true love
