How should I omit unwanted people from my yahoo messenger?

I am an old user of yahoo massanger. But I am facing a problem for about a couple of years that I could not delete the unwanted entries from the list of my friends. This made me discourage to chat on yahoo. Have you ever faced such problem at yahoo messenger. If not, then how did you solve it well.

I dont know about you but on my yahoo messenger i can easily delete my contacts, have you tried apopearing offline to all your contacts?it helps, you can send messages while you appear offline to your contacts and receive messages too.One more thing change your account and just add your preffered contacts this time be carefull adding contacts tha bothers you all the time, for me its the best way to avoid those messages keep popping out.Hope this will help you.Thanks.
